New Construction Electrician for Seattle-Area Homes
Complete electrical systems for new single-family homes and small multi-family builds.
New construction is where good planning pays off for decades. We size your service for the home you're building plus the future you can't fully predict — EV charging, heat pumps, induction ranges, a workshop. All City Electric has wired new homes across King and Snohomish Counties since 1971, working from the footing stage through final device plate.
We lay out receptacles, switches, and lighting locations with the way you'll actually use each room in mind, not just the minimum code count. We coordinate trenching, conduit, and low-voltage runs with your builder, and we plan the panel so circuits are balanced and there's room to grow.
Every job is grounded, bonded, and inspected to the current Washington State and local code. You get a clean, labeled panel and a walk-through so nothing is a surprise on move-in day.

New Construction — Your Questions Answered
What size electrical service do you recommend for a new home?
For most new single-family homes we install a 200-amp, 40-space panel as a minimum. If you're planning EV charging, a heat pump, an induction cooktop, or a future ADU, we'll size up or add a subpanel so you're not capacity-limited later.
Do you work with our builder or act as the electrical contractor?
Both. We can be your electrical subcontractor coordinating with your general contractor, or owners can bring us in directly. Either way you get the same code-compliant, inspected, and labeled system.
Can you pre-wire a new home for EV charging?
Yes. We can install a dedicated 240-volt circuit and a Level 2 charger, or pre-run the circuit during rough-in so adding a charger later is a clean, inexpensive finish.
Do you install recessed and LED lighting in new construction?
Yes — we lay out and install IC-rated recessed housings, LED fixtures, and layered lighting (task, ambient, accent) with dimmers and switching planned for how you'll use each space.
How long does new-construction electrical take?
It follows the build: rough-in after framing, low-voltage and trim after finishes. We coordinate with your builder's schedule so the electrical never holds up the next trade.
Do you handle low-voltage wiring in new builds?
Yes — Cat6 data, coax, speaker wire, and structured low-voltage runs for security and smart-home backbones, all pulled, terminated, tested, and labeled.

"I had an incredible experience getting service done from All City Electric. I wanted to have some outlets fixed as well as install a Level 2 Charger. They were easy to schedule a time for an estimate and also for the service. The electrician came right on time for both appointments and was very respectful and sweet. Every team member was very kind and sweet and accommodating. I would highly recommend them for any future service needs you have!"

"I called All City Electric when my laundry room and living room lights would not turn off. If you tried to turn them off they flicker. Then 5 of my outlets either didn't work or things would fall out of them. I finally got sick of it and reached out explaining my situation. The gal that answered my call was very sweet and kind. Even when I called back the next day saying I forgot to write it down and wanted to confirm my appointment day and time. We had a good laugh. She made my day! Today, Kevin showed up on time and confirmed the problem and got to work right away. He was pleasant and kind during the entire process. He answered all my questions. Thank you to the entire staff and owner of All City Electric!! You will forever have my business. Please call if you have any issues. They are absolutely the best to work with!! Thank you again!!"
