Our Services

EV Charger Installation in Seattle, Shoreline & the Eastside

Level 2 EV charger installation, dedicated 40–60A circuits, and load management.

A Level 2 home charger turns overnight charging from a trickle into a full battery by morning. We install dedicated 40- or 60-amp, 240-volt circuits for Tesla, ChargePoint, Grizzl-E, Wall Connector, and other Level 2 units, sized to the charger and your panel's available capacity.

If your panel doesn't have room for a dedicated EV circuit, we can add a subpanel or, when needed, upgrade your service. For homes with multiple EVs or tight capacity, we install load-management chargers and energy monitors that share capacity across circuits so you never overload the service.

Every install is permitted and inspected, GFCI-protected where required, and mounted to code — indoors in a garage or outdoors on a weather-rated circuit. We'll help you pick the right charger and location, then wire it so it just works.

Questions

EV Charger Installation — Your Questions Answered

Can my current panel support an EV charger?

Often yes, if there's an open space and enough capacity. If not, we can add a subpanel, install a load-sharing charger, or upgrade your service to 200 amps. We assess your panel on site and recommend the simplest safe option.

Do I need a permit for an EV charger installation?

Yes. EV charger installs require an electrical permit and inspection in Washington. We pull the permit, do the work to code, and schedule the inspection — you don't handle any of that paperwork.

Which EV chargers do you install?

We install Tesla Wall Connector, ChargePoint, Grizzl-E, and other UL-listed Level 2 units on dedicated 40- or 60-amp, 240-volt circuits, sized to the charger and your panel's capacity.

Can you install an EV charger outdoors?

Yes. We install weather-rated outdoor Level 2 chargers with the correct enclosure, GFCI protection, and in-use rating, all permitted and inspected.

How fast does a Level 2 charger charge?

A dedicated 40–60 amp, 240-volt Level 2 circuit typically adds 25–40 miles of range per hour — enough for a full overnight charge for most daily driving.

Can I install two EV chargers at home?

Yes. For two-EV households we install load-sharing chargers or a subpanel with an energy monitor so the two chargers share your service capacity safely without overloading the panel.

"I had an incredible experience getting service done from All City Electric. I wanted to have some outlets fixed as well as install a Level 2 Charger. They were easy to schedule a time for an estimate and also for the service. The electrician came right on time for both appointments and was very respectful and sweet. Every team member was very kind and sweet and accommodating. I would highly recommend them for any future service needs you have!"

"I called All City Electric when my laundry room and living room lights would not turn off. If you tried to turn them off they flicker. Then 5 of my outlets either didn't work or things would fall out of them. I finally got sick of it and reached out explaining my situation. The gal that answered my call was very sweet and kind. Even when I called back the next day saying I forgot to write it down and wanted to confirm my appointment day and time. We had a good laugh. She made my day! Today, Kevin showed up on time and confirmed the problem and got to work right away. He was pleasant and kind during the entire process. He answered all my questions. Thank you to the entire staff and owner of All City Electric!! You will forever have my business. Please call if you have any issues. They are absolutely the best to work with!! Thank you again!!"
