Good lighting is layered: task light where you work, accent light for depth, and ambient light for the room. We install under-cabinet LED lighting for kitchens, toe-kick and cove accent lighting, display lighting, and recessed can layouts that put light exactly where it's needed without dark spots.
For recessed lighting we use IC-rated, airtight housings where insulation is present (the correct and code-compliant choice in insulated ceilings), and we lay out spacing so the light is even. We convert old recessed cans to modern LED wafer lights where appropriate, and we switch and dim every layer independently.
We hide the drivers and transformers, land everything on properly protected circuits, and label it at the panel. The result is lighting that looks intentional and works the way you use the room.
